TLE Department Supports Catch-up Fridays
The TLE Department, headed by Mr. Nestor P. Sison, Head Teacher VI, strongly supports the on-going Catch-up Fridays being conducted to address the issues of reading skills of students, and provide support learning on Values Education, Health Education, and Peace Education.
The Catch-up Fridays is a mandate of the Department of Education to improve the reading skills and augment the learning of the students in the Philippines, in accordance with its Department Order No. 1, Series of 2024.
TLE DEPARTMENT IMPLEMENTS THE 7S PROJECT
The TLE Department of Olongapo City National High School regularly conducts the 7S Project, which aims to have a conducive and clean classrooms and TLE-related rooms and laboratories, including the TLE Department Nook.
The 7S Project, proposed by Ms. Irene G. Dela Cruz, MT-I, and Mr. Deo Gratias E. Pozon, T-III, is being implemented for the purpose of making sure that all classrooms are neat, and free of trash and dirts. To be also the trailblazers of cleanliness and orderliness, the faculty of TLE Department also regularly perform cleaning and decluttering activities on all laboratories and the department office.
