The National Drug Education Program in cooperation with Barkada Kontra Droga is celebrating Drug month awareness with the theme of People First: Stop Stigma and Discrimination, Strengthen Prevention. In the recreation of a safer and more encouraging learning environment, students from Olongapo City National High School took a courageous step to raise awareness about the importance of a drug-free campus. On November 29, 2023, a wave of voices echoed through the corridors as students organized a noise barrage as part of their campaign for a drug-free school.

On the specified day, students gathered in the school court, prepared with chanting slogans and posters with their basis of the theme. The intensity of voices was accompanied by the rhythmic beating of drums that created an air charged with energy and purpose.

The student-led noise barrage served as a stimulus for change, parting an ineffaceable mark on the cooperative mindfulness of the school community.
